Well, are you?
Are you tired of my family yet?
Well, are you?
Well, are you?
Steps for a relaxed photo shoot: start with coffee, find some interesting walls, end at your neighborhood bar, and drink beer and hang out for a couple of hours in between remembering to take pictures of the people who asked you to be there.
Once upon a time we were active. I had to get proof!
I started my internship with Austin City Limits at the beginning of June. Thanks to a pretty lean summer taping schedule I was asked to stay through the fall semester and I gotta tell you, these last five months have been an absolute dream come true and I've made some memories I'll never forget. I grew up watching Austin City Limits and when they moved from Studio 6B to the Moody Theater I finally got my chance to attend a taping (Fleet Foxes! It was great!) and have been fortunate enough to attend many more in the years since. I have no idea what's going to happen in December when the internship ends (hey ACL! I'm available to stay, you know, if you want me to....) but in the meantime here's a peek at last week when the producers let me pretend to be a hot shot photographer during the Heartless Bastards taping.
Once again, like clockwork, it's time for another portrait session with my brother and his family. This time with their newest (7 months ago) addition, Lyle!
After a million shoots I think we FINALLY have it down.
Well...maybe.
