It's been a while...

Good to see you again!

Every few months my brother's family hits a new milestone in their lives and they enlist me to document it with my magic camera. Most recently they wanted some photos showing off my sister-in-law's ever expanding belly (there's a baby in there!). And, obviously, I will take just about any excuse to take a picture of my nephew, Wyatt, who in my completely unbiased opinion, just might be the cutest human in existance.

Enjoy! I think we're finally getting the hang of these "photo shoot" things we keep doing.

The Wild Standard

The Wild Standard make super cool, custom flags. They are handmade from 100% natural fibers, lettered by Linsey Metcalf, screen printed in Austin, and sewn by Tara Bauerschlag. Pretty neat! Last week I got to hang out with Tara and snap some pictures while she finished up a few flags. I can't wait to get my hands on one!
Their site is now officially live, and you can check them out on Instagram (@wildstandard) or hit 'em up at goods@thewildstandard.com

Very special appearance by Babe, unofficial Best Dog

Life on Mars

I got to help Amy turn into David Bowie for Halloween this weekend. It turned out pretty neat, don't you think? (I actually had very little to do with how cool her costume/makeup turned out)

Unfortunately for me, Linda Belcher doesn't translate into such an awesome costume photo op.

Alison + Marcus (And welcome!!)

I thought there was no better way to introduce you to my new baby, Red Glass Photography, than my first official photo shoot with someone other than my family/friends! When my roommate Anna's friends Alison and Marcus came to Austin this weekend I told them I wanted to take some photos of them to pad my photography portfolio. Little did Alison know that Anna and Marcus and I had been in cahoots for over a month planning the perfect surprise engagement! Please enjoy the photos before, during, and after this sweet couple's equally sweet proposal.
