Once again, like clockwork, it's time for another portrait session with my brother and his family. This time with their newest (7 months ago) addition, Lyle!
After a million shoots I think we FINALLY have it down.
Well...maybe.
Right now it seems like we'll never get a break from this heat. It's far too hot to even be considered safe, and it's far too hot to spend any significant amount of time outside. Unfortunately for Kerry and Andrew, I'm a huge fan of outdoor shots. We headed out last Saturday morning and I pointed my magic camera in their general direction. We nearly melted during our shoot but I still think it was worth it, just check out this couple!
I got to help Amy turn into David Bowie for Halloween this weekend. It turned out pretty neat, don't you think? (I actually had very little to do with how cool her costume/makeup turned out)
Unfortunately for me, Linda Belcher doesn't translate into such an awesome costume photo op.
I thought there was no better way to introduce you to my new baby, Red Glass Photography, than my first official photo shoot with someone other than my family/friends! When my roommate Anna's friends Alison and Marcus came to Austin this weekend I told them I wanted to take some photos of them to pad my photography portfolio. Little did Alison know that Anna and Marcus and I had been in cahoots for over a month planning the perfect surprise engagement! Please enjoy the photos before, during, and after this sweet couple's equally sweet proposal.
